My research in this has brought me to try several things with both success and failures first what i concider the failures

i built the so-called Tesla free energy collector which consisted of a few caps and diodes and such well it worked sorta... way way too slow for me i tried everything from increasing the cap sizes to raising my antenna it got better but too slow

I tried to run it through a tank circuit it helped but still not good enough for what i was looking for

i tried the rotating switch that seemed better but still i didnt like it either

so now for what i consider success (not the greatest but a step forward nonetheless)

i moded my setup buy taking some of my setup from both tesla and moray .

im using not one but 3 insulated copper wires as my elevated antenna, insulated from the two polls on that support them i then connected them together at the point where it runs down to the grouind.
I then connect a 1500v .47uf cap in series then through a EE ferite core transformer i wound by hand.
then connect the other end of the primary to an ajustable spark gap then to earth (a metal pipe driven into moist soil insulated 2ft down) then goes down another 4 ft, so 6 ft pipe.

oh and the reason the spark gap is on the neg side rather than the antenna side is the current is increased this way...

This produced high voltage discharge through the primary winding inducing a secondary voltage in the secondary winding with this setup i can either rectify it to charge caps in just a few seconds (high capacitance capacitors) 470 uf 200v charges to 175 volts in 35 seconds 3300uf cap charges to the same 200 volts in just over a minute thats pretty good i guess.

but i can also connect a regular led style night light across the secondary winding and light it forever its not full brightness but performing work nonetheless...

This needs more work and research and testing im wanting to try to implement some type of ion valve into it to try and get more power...

This is fun even if it dont pan out though...
Ill post a schematic of my setup although all i have is hand drawn circuit but hopefully you guys can read my writing..lol

I would be interested in hearing more about your results... I'm curious to know what your elevation is where you do your tests.

My elevation where i live and conduct my tests is 2,405 ft (733 m)..

Ive tested my voltage at different times of the day for the past few months and its basically running steady at 520vac at 2ma sometimes it jumps during a lightening storm (yes i still left the antenna up during the storm) not the smartest thing to do but i wanted to see the results...

(I have it on poles 75ft apart 30ft up but suspended on a pully system for easy raising and lowering for storms or whatever)

During that storm the readings were off the scale i got overload on my meter and stopped didnt want to fry another one or myself for that matter...

the highest readings ive gotten is over 2000vac which i wasnt expecting i thought it was a fluke but used a different meter and had the same so for that day it was pretty high ...I think it was because of some sort of space weather that caused the inrush of positive ions during that part of the day later on in the evening it leveled back out to 500 plus and stayed their for the remainder of the day...

Now as far as where my readings are comming from so to speak they are from the three wires i have for an antenna setup and earth ground...
I have found that using a spark gap without the aid of a capacitor will function through a stepdown transformer provided you adjust it for the greatest current flow...(this works)

info on my circuit and materials:

the three wires i have were salvaged from three microwave transformers (primary)
the transformer im using (EE core ferrite) came from an old 6000 watt power bright inverter.
i disassembled it and rewound it to what it is now...(Ive tried several configurations and the lasest is proving better than the rest) but the tests arent over yet...

i have also built a rectifier/booster circuit i used to test charging high voltage capacitors (motor run caps to be exact...they charge super fast if the power runs through my transformer circuit first..if you connect the rectifier directly to the antenna and gnd it charges but way slower.

i have also (for testing purposes ) built a small single transistor inverter that will run on 3 to 12vdc and out put 240vac ... well not exactally pure ac but you understand what i mean...

Ill also post schematics of these two circuits also if ppl are interested in them.

Here are my schematics...

the inverter circuit is a modified version of something i found on another site

Sorry ive been really busy as of late... but im going to run an idea by the community here just tell me what you think...

I`ve reworked my antenna to try and eliminate any shorts to ground that may occur ... my (working) voltage ranges from 525vac to just under 600vac depending on the weather , wind ect.

and my current readings are 5ma at 525vac to 12ma at 568vac this is working voltage no caps .

as stated above my three wires are from old microwave transformers im thinking about either wrapping them in graphite strands or just using the graphite strands themselves ( maybe both) as the collectors ... just to see how it would effect the overall voltage reading and current readings..

I think that the graphite may have a positive effect maybe not a huge one but better results than plain copper or plain aluminum ...

the strands of graphite i was thinking about are like the wire used in sparkplug wires ...i know their are some diy auto mechanics like myself out here so you know what im talking about...i also think using the sparkplug wire as the insulated wire from the antenna to the ground would serve well also because of the insulation....

just thinking outloud what are some of your thoughts ?

Isn't the wire from your microwave transformers coated with an enamel? If so, you need to sand it off with sandpaper. Your wire needs to be absolutely bare.

Yes it is but i was either going to sand it off or use the ground from 12-2 house wire and wrap it with it just to test the graphite as a collector ... if im not mistaken the resistance of graphite is slightly higher than copper though, it may prove to be worse than better...but that is what tests are for...

at the moment im rethinking my transformer configuration and trying a new core along with different diameter wire ill post the results after i run some tests...

on another note i attached two gutted cfl bulbs to the antenna and gnd and they light up nicely...
also found that using one cfl in place of the spark gap will feed the transformer but with lower power...it powered a set of 6 leds through my rectifier /boost circuit , it was interesting that the cfl lit up and the 6 leds ...

this is so much fun...

I changed the transformer on my harvest circuit its similar to the one used in the moded inverter circuit posted above...im also adding some 100 farad super caps i found that if you charge them to 2.5v first before adding them to the collector circuit the harvester will keep them charged...

ill post schematics as soon as i can....just thought id post an update

Ok before the rain moved in yesterday and messed up my tests i connected 4 100 farad 2.7v caps charged to 2.5v in series to my collector circuit then to my inverter circuit via my rectifier/ boost circuit, after the voltage dropped from 10v to 5.27v the voltage (because of the capacitance i guess) was stable at 5.27 vdc and the inverter circuit kept performing well with first a small 4 watt standard bulb (although not at full brightness) then a small very bright led bulb

at least until the rain moved in when this stops ill run some more tests and see if i can repeat it with the same results

Still raining here so no tests today either it seems...but i wanted to mention what led me to use 4 super caps instead of 1 or 2 ... well i tried one it worked but after the voltage dropped after a few minutes the light (led night light) would go dim then pulse bright then dim again ect.. i tried two then three with the same results but four it was more stable although the voltage was higher the capacitance was alot lower somewhere in the range of 25 farad if my math is correct at 10.8 v...

My assumption was that the capacitance was too high at 100 farad so i hooked them up in series to lower the capacitance and raise the voltage , it seemed to work but until the rain stops so i can see if it can be repeated i dont know for sure..
